Jonas grinned.
Pen was going through the pregnant woman stage where all she wanted was him. Jonas loved it. He started spending 24/7 with Pen. She wasnt ready too tell her parents she was prego. she was scared they would freak out on her, and she couldnt take all the yelling beacuse she would get really emotional. everyday around eight, Pen's parents tells Jonas "its getting a little late Jonas, dont cha think?" and Jonas would reply "Yes, im sorry i lost track of time. Bye Pen, see ya tomarrow?" and Pen would say "mmhhmm" then Jonas would go into his car and "leave". after that Jonas would drive around the block and then he would park in a"for sale" house across the street. then, he would climb into Pen's winodw. Mrs.Roscla thought Jonas was and has been in this camp of nerdy people for three weeks.
since pen wasn't quite ready to tell her parents, she gained weight to make it look like her belly getting bigger was just a plain stomach that got bigger with her whole body. (Jonas thought of the idea)
One night when Jonas was dozing off, and Penelope was talking about how hard its going to be to lose all this fat, Jonas got frustrated. "Pen just tell your mom and dad." Jonas suggested.
"Fine then jonas! ill tell them right now! ill tell them how you stay over every night, and how im preganant, and how your the dad, and how i tried to get an abortion but chickened out, so im having the baby! will that make you happy Jonas?! will it?!" Pen yelled red face having one of those pregant mood swings.
"Pen, i just think that it would be better for you. it must suck having to keep a secret like this AND having a baby inside you. just tell them sweetie." Jonas said, trying to smooth talk her to calm down. "NO, ILL TELL THEM RIGHT NOW!" pen said struggling to get up. Jonas got up with her. "hunny, calm down. we can tell them later. everthing is going to be alright. i love..... i....." Jonas stumbled. what was he about to say? was he about to tell pen he loves her? he was! he did!
"i love you Pen." Jonas said softly. he really did love her. He was willing to be a dad for her. he would get a job. he would pay for the baby. they would get a house together. they would get married. they would be a family.
